Liburdi GAPCO, in partnership with its project collaborators, was tasked with executing in-situ valve repairs on P91 components at Gibson Generating Station.

The scope included seat removal, valve seat overlays, post-weld heat treatment, and repair of worn internal threads across multiple large critical valves. The work required specialized personnel and equipment coordination to complete multiple complex repairs within a single outage window.

results

Liburdi GAPCO successfully completed the repair of the FW500 U3A BFP discharge stop valve, 3FW002 U3A BFP discharge check valve, and the D start-up valve, including seat replacements, guide rib overlay, and internal threaded cage restoration. The project was delivered on schedule and under budget, with zero recordable safety incidents.
